Louder (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Louder app handles information when you use it.

Information We Collect

Louder is designed to work without requiring personal accounts. We collect minimal information necessary to provide core features.

a) Audio and Reminder Content

When you:

  • Record a voice reminder
  • Import a voice memo
  • Generate an AI voice reminder

That audio and text:

  • Is stored locally on your device
  • Is not shared publicly
  • Is only used to provide reminder functionality

b) AI Voice Generation

If you use AI voice features:

  • Your reminder text is sent to a third-party service (ElevenLabs) to generate audio.
  • This data is used only to create the requested voice file.
  • We do not store or reuse your text for other purposes.

Please review ElevenLabs' privacy policy for more details on their handling of data.

c) Analytics (if enabled)

Louder may use lightweight analytics to understand feature usage, such as:

  • AI voice generation
  • Credit purchases
  • Wallpaper usage

This data:

  • Does not include voice recordings
  • Does not include personal text content
  • Is used only to improve the app

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not:

  • Require user accounts
  • Collect contact lists
  • Track precise location
  • Sell personal data
  • Store voice recordings on external servers

All reminders and audio files remain on your device unless you choose to share them.

In-App Purchases

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.

We do not:

  • Collect credit card numbers
  • Store payment details
  • Process payments directly

Photo & Microphone Access

Louder may request permission to:

  • Access the microphone (to record reminders)
  • Access photos (to import wallpaper images)

These permissions are used only for the features you select.

Photo Library & Audio File Access

Louder allows users to import images and audio files from their device to use as wallpapers or alarms.

These files are stored locally on the user's device and are not uploaded to our servers.

If an audio file is processed through a third-party voice service, only the audio necessary to perform that feature is sent securely for processing.

Data Retention

All reminders, recordings, and wallpapers:

  • Are stored locally on your device
  • Can be deleted at any time by removing the alarm or deleting the app

Your Privacy Rights

You can delete all reminders, recordings, and wallpapers at any time within the app or by uninstalling it.

You can also revoke microphone or photo access at any time in your device settings.

Children's Privacy

Louder is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
